With the weather turning warmer and Memorial Day approaching, folks locally have been returning to the water. This week the National Weather Service has partnered with the National Safe Boating Council to help promote safe boating practices, and May 18 - 24 is this year’s Safe Boating Week. During Safe Boating Week NWS will disseminate a Public Information Statement and broadcast public service announcements on NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards.
