Lorton Rainfall: June 25 - July 1, 2012
Daily rainfall totals for previous 24 hours measured at 6am from my rain gauge in Lorton.
Virginia bordering the Potomac River is close to returning to drought conditions. We received ⅓” less rain this week than we usually do for the last week in June, which leaves us over 7” short for the year. Not quite a drought yet, but as you can see on the accompanying graphic our part of Fairfax County is classified as abnormally dry.
