Do you crave fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, meats, and local foods such as cheeses, salsas and breads? Well, then you are in luck! The Workhouse Farmers Market opens this Thursday and runs every Thursday until October 25 from 3:30 – 7pm on the Workhouse Quad.
Smart Markets, Inc. of Northern Virginia is the newest arrival to the farmers market scene in Northern Virginia, providing guaranteed producer-only markets for the region's discerning shoppers. Visit the Workhouse Farmers Market every Thursday for locally grown fruits and vegetables, locally raised meats and poultry, and local foods from breads and cheeses to salsa and sausage.
So Thursday, on your way home, or to avoid 95 traffic, stop by the Workhouse and check the region’s newest farmers market!
