Both the injectable and FluMist forms of the 2010-2011 seasonal influenza vaccine are available to beneficiaries of the DeWitt Health Care Network.

• The injectable form of the vaccine is for people 9 years of age and older.
• The FluMist is for people who are 2-49 years of age with no chronic health problems.
• Children who are 6 months to 9 years of age and cannot take the FluMist due to medical concerns must receive the Fluzone vaccination. Dewitt has a very limited supply of Fluzone injection 6mo-35mo. Unfortunately, there is a manufacturer delay in production and delivery of the Fluzone vaccine for age 36mo-8 years.
