Expect Delays at Pentagon Transit Center During Construction
Construction is anticipated to last through mid-August 2015.

Fairfax Connector routes 306, 393, 394, 395 and 599 service will be affected by a construction project beginning this week at the Pentagon. Riders should anticipate service delays due to route detours and work zone congestion at Pentagon Transit Center.
Routes 306, 393, 394, 395, 599 – Pentagon Transit Center
Buses will operate on detour via North and South Rotary Road when exiting the Pentagon Transit Center to accommodate bus lane repairs and pedestrian access, safety, and security improvements.

· Buses will continue to board passengers at bays L4 (Route 306) and L7 (Routes 393, 394, 395, 599).
· Traffic control officers will be in place during weekday rush hours.

Construction at Pentagon Transit Center will create the potential for delays to buses entering and exiting the facility. Buses will need to travel on a limited use access road as improvements are underway. Customers are encouraged to add up to 15 minutes additional time to their trip.
Metrobus personnel are positioned at the Transit Center during key service times to monitor bus schedules and provide customer assistance.
Bus stop changes for routes 10A, 10E, 13Y, 16A, 16B, 16D, 16E, 16J, 16K and 16P:
Two bus stops will be temporarily discontinued during the Pentagon Transit Center construction --
- Army Navy Drive & Eads Street
- Army Navy Drive & Fern Street
Customers may board buses at the temporary bus stop located on Fern Street (Westside) & Army Navy Drive (Northside).
Improvements to pedestrian access and the Transit Center bus bays at Pentagon are made possible through a Federal TIGER grant. Please be mindful of construction-related activity with the area.
