Fairfax County Announces Trash Schedule for 4th of July Holiday

Please be advised that Friday, July 3, will be a regular solid waste collection day for customers receiving Friday collection service for trash and recycling and for customers with previously scheduled collections. All materials should be at the curb by 6 a.m. in order to ensure that they will be collected.

The county administrative office will be closed on Friday, July 3, for the Independence Day holiday. The office will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 6.

The Recycling and Disposal Centers at the I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road) and the I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road) will both be open on Friday, July 3, 2015, however, both locations will be closed on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.
