Police Report Robbery by Masked Gunman Saturday Night in Lorton

A 50-year old man said a man pushed a gun in his back and demanded money.

Fairfax County Police said a resident was robbed Saturday night when a masked suspect stuck a gun in his back and demanded money.

The incident took place in the 7400 block of Pohick Road (see map below) Saturday at about 6:36 p.m.

A 50-year-old man reported that he was approached from behind, by a man who pushed a gun in his back and demanded money, police said.

The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured, according to police.

The suspect fled on foot toward Richmond Highway, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a skinny build, according to police. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, gloves and a mask covering his face.
