Resident Surprises Burglar After Arriving Home at Lunchtime

A woman arrived home at lunchtime Tuesday only to find an unknown man in her home, according to police.

The woman lives in the 7300 block of Rhondda Drive in Lorton (see Google map below) and found her belongings disturbed when she got home a little after 12 noon Tuesday, according to police.

Police say a male suspect ran out of the home. The suspect was described as a heavy set black male wearing a black hat.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident, police said. The map shows the approximate address, not the exact location, where the burglary took place:
