Manassas Law Firm Holds Winter Coat Drive For Needy During Holiday Season

Parrish Law Firm will donate the coats it collects to Cornerstones Virginia, a nonprofit organization that helps people in need.

MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas law firm is holding a winter coat drive this holiday season, with a goal of collecting at least 100 coats.

Parrish Law Firm PLLC will donate the coats it collects to Cornerstones Virginia, a Reston-based nonprofit organization that helps people in need.

“We live in one of the wealthiest areas in the country, but that doesn’t mean we get to turn a blind eye to those that are struggling and suffering around us,” Jim Parrish, founder of Parrish Law Firm, said in a statement “Imagine not having funds necessary or the option of turning on the heat at home or shopping for a new coat. The Parrish Law Firm wants to be a part of the solution.”

For the law firm's coat drive, residents can bring gently used winter coats for adults and children to Parrish Law Firm at 9214 Center Street, 3rd Floor in Manassas. The coat drive starts Monday, Nov. 8 and runs through Dec. 31.
