$100K VA Lottery Raffle Ticket Bought At Manassas Grocery Store
A Nokesville woman was one of the seven people to win $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery's New Year's Millionaire Raffle.

MANASSAS, VA โ Although Leigh Nordike knew that she hadn't won the top prize in the New Yearโs Millionaire Raffle, she was surprised to learn that the raffle ticket she bought at a grocery store in Manassas was one of the seven worth $100,000, according to the Virginia Lottery.
"We couldnโt believe it,โ the Nokesville woman told Lottery officials about learning that her raffle ticket was #282922 and therefore a prize winner. She'd bought it at Giant Food, located at 10100 Dumfries Road in Manassas,
The other six $100,000 winning tickets were bought in Hampton, Leesburg, Montvale, Richmond, Stafford and Winchester. There were also 1,000 tickets that each won $500. The raffleโs $1 million top prize had winners in Alexandria, Bealeton, Burke, Hopewell, and Madison.

All Virginia Lottery profits go to K-12 education in Virginia. Nordike lives in Prince William County, which received more than $63.3 million in Lottery funds for K-12 education last fiscal year. In Fiscal Year 2025, the Lottery raised more than $901 million for K-12 education, making up approximately 10 percent of Virginiaโs total K-12 school budget.
