2 Dead After Corvette Speeds Into Tree: Police
The driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
NOKESVILLE, VA — Two people died after a car sped into a tree over the weekend in Nokesville, according to police.
Officers responded around noon Saturday to Parkgate Drive and Old Church Road, where a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette had run off the road and hit the tree, police said.
The driver, a 61-year-old man, and his passenger, a 45-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
