22-Year-Old Man Stabbed While Walking Dog In Manassas: Police

A man was stabbed while walking his dog early Friday morning near the Old Centreville Garden Apartments in Manassas, according to police.

MANASSAS, VA — A 22-year-old man was stabbed while walking his dog early Friday morning in the area of the Old Centreville Garden Apartments in Manassas, according to the Prince William County Police Department. The man is expected to survive the injuries from the stabbing.

At around 2:45 a.m. Friday, police officers went to the 7400 block of Prince Charles Court to investigate a stabbing. They found the man suffering from stab wounds. The police officers provided aid until rescue personnel arrived at the apartment when the man was transported to an area hospital.

The initial investigation found that the man was walking his dog near the apartment building when an unknown individual approached him from behind. During the incident, the man was stabbed before returning to his apartment where he notified emergency services.
