MANASSAS, VA — A woman died on Sunday after a single-vehicle crash near Kahns Road in Manassas, the Prince William County Police Department said.

Authorities identified the woman as Linda Marie Killian, a 61-year-old from Manassas.

The police department said no other vehicles were involved in the crash and no other injuries were reported.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday near Kahns Road and Dark Forest Drive in Manassas. Investigators said Killian was driving her 2022 Honda CRV southbound on Kahns Road when the SUV left the road and traveled down an embankment. The vehicle then went through a ravine, traveled up a second embankment, crossed Dark Forest Drive, and stopped in a ditch, police said.

A bystander provided CPR to the injured driver before she was taken to an area hospital. The driver, who police identified as Killian, died on Sunday evening at the hospital.
