7-Year-Old Boy Hit By An SUV In Manassas, Driver Sought By Police
Authorities are looking for a driver in a gold SUV who hit a 7-year-old boy in Manassas on Saturday, according to the police report.

MANASSAS, VA — A 7-year-old boy was hit by an SUV in Manassas on Saturday afternoon, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Now, police are working to find the driver who hit him.
The boy was taken to a hospital on Saturday, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Officers responded to the 8900 block of Academic Loop around 3 p.m. on Saturday to investigate. Authorities determined that a group of children were playing in the area when the 7-year-old boy ran into the roadway. A gold SUV then hit the child, according to the police report.

The driver of the SUV stopped briefly before driving away, authorities said. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The police department only described the driver as a Black female. They did not have any further information about the driver or their vehicle.
