82-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Manassas: Police
An 82-year-old woman died on Monday after a car hit her on Hoadly Road. Police said she was wearing dark clothing and walking in the road.

MANASSAS, VA — An 82-year-old woman died on Monday morning after a car hit her on Hoadly Road in Manassas, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Authorities identified the woman as Alice Fouchea, a Manassas resident. The driver, a 66-year-old man from Woodbridge, stayed at the scene after the crash. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution, the police department said.
The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Monday morning on Hoadly Road near Ridgefield Village Drive in Manassas, according to authorities. Investigators believe Fouchea was wearing dark clothing and walking in the roadway when an eastbound 2016 Volkswagen Beetle hit her.

Fouchea was not in a crosswalk, police said. Police officers attempted CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Investigators noted that speed and driver impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
