MANASSAS, VA – Four more people have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old Manassas man in June. So far, seven people have been taken into custody and charged.
According to Prince William County police, the following individuals have been arrested in connection with the case over the past few days:
All are being held without bond.
All have been charged in connection with the shooting death of Luis Angel Chavez on June 15. Chavez was found collapsed in a backyard on Parrish Lane on June 15 with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police determined that the shooting had occurred in the Bull Run Mobile Home Community in the area of Peppertree Lane and Pebble Lane.
Markiss Alexander Medrano, 18, of Manassas, as well as a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, have already been charged in the case. All are charged with murder and firearms offenses. Medrano has a preliminary hearing scheduled in August.
