Manassas Primary Voter Guide: What’s On The Aug. 4 Ballot

MANASSAS, VA — On Aug. 4, voters in Virginia's 10th Congressional District will choose who will represent the Republican Party in the November general election for that seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as who will challenge incumbent U.S. Sen. Mark Warner.

Early voting for the primary began on June 18. Voters are not registered by party in Virginia, so any registered voter can cast a ballot in the primary they choose.

In Manassas, voters will cast their ballots for one of three Republican candidates running. Those candidates are:

• Dave Beckwith
• Julie Perry
• Anthony Suttles

On the Democratic side, incumbent Democratic Congressman Suhas Subranmanyam has already secured his party's nomination.

Senate Republican Primary

Voters in both districts can choose from among 3 candidates running to represent the Republican Party in the U.S. Senate race in November. Those candidates are:

• Kim Farington
• Bert K Mizusawa
• David Earl Williams

On the Democratic side, incumbent Senator Mark Warner has already secured his party's nomination.

Voting In Person

Manassas has six polling places. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. A list of Manassas polling places can be found here.

• Baldwin Elementary School: 1978 Eagle Way, Manassas, VA 20110
• George C Round Elementary School: 10100 Hastings Drive, Manassas, VA 20110

Voting By Mail

Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by 12 p.m. (noon) the Friday after the election.

Ballots can be mailed to 9025 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110, dropped off at that address between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. or dropped in the secure drop box at that location until 7 p.m. on August 4.

Ballots can be dropped off at voters' precincts between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Election Day.
