The city-backed project aims to attract low-cost carriers by 2027, add thousands of parking spaces, and expand daily flights, potentially reshaping how locals travel to and from the D.C. region.
   

• Second shooter sought after deadly shooting at Manassas Train Station (dcnewsnow.com) — A 16-year-old girl was killed Friday night when she was caught in crossfire between two shooters during the First Friday event at the Manassas Train Station. Police have arrested 21-year-old Tasheem Douglas, who remains hospitalized and charged with murder and firearm offenses, while investigators continue searching for a second suspect and neighbors gather at a growing memorial.
