• Game On: New Faces Around Manassas (potomaclocal.com) — A new Game Over Escape Rooms franchise has opened on Center Street in Historic Downtown Manassas, offering four immersive puzzle adventures built for teamwork and storytelling. Owners Eleftherios "Ares" Nakos and Jonathan Thompson praise the supportive downtown business community, as nearby development plans call for new housing, structured parking, and a boutique hotel that could further boost the area.
   

• Man blames McDonald's breakfast for speeding nearly 50 mph over limit in Manassas (wjla.com) — Manassas City Police released body-camera video of an Aug. 16 traffic stop where a motorcyclist was clocked at 72 mph in a 25 mph zone on Hastings Drive, earning a reckless driving ticket. Officers use the footage to warn Manassas riders and drivers that extreme speeding can quickly turn deadly, urging everyone to slow down and stay alert.
