Amtrak Train Hits Tanker Truck in Prince William County: Police
No serious injuries were reported in the Wednesday morning incident, according to Prince William County Police. Service has resumed.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — No serious injuries reported Wednesday morning after an Amtrak train hit a tanker truck in the Dumfries area, according to Prince William County Police.
Amtrak said the train had 95 passengers aboard, coming from Norfolk and to New York. The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. but service resumed about an hour and a half later.
