Anonymous Donor Gives $500,000 to Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding

The organization​ provides equine-assisted activities for children and adults with disabilities, recovering military personnel and more.

CLIFTON, VA — An anonymous donor plopped down $500,000 in the coffers of the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program, the organization announced Wednesday.

The donation went toward the Build to Thrive campaign, which hopes to build an indoor riding arena, development of a new and improved outdoor arena, expanded parking and a fully accessible playground.

So far, more than $2 million has been raised toward the goal of $3.46 million.
