Argument Over Parking Ends With Manassas Man's Arrest: Police
An argument over parking ended with a Manassas man's arrest on a brandishing a weapon charge, Prince William County Police said.
MANASSAS, VA — An argument over parking spots ended with a Manassas man's arrest on a brandishing a weapon charge, Prince William County Police said.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a residence in the 7700 block of Woodstock Court in Manassas to investigate a disorderly with weapons call.
A police report said an argument was ongoing between two victims — a 42-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man — and Tuan Kies Mattes, 66, of Manassas, over the victims parking their vehicle in front of Mattes' residence.

During the argument, police said Mattes brandished a firearm toward the victims and their 14-year-old son. No injuries were reported.
Police arrested Mattes and charged him with three counts of brandishing a firearm.
