Armed Assailant Sought In Manassas: Police

Authorities are looking for a man who threatened a family member with a gun Friday night in the 7500 block of Margate Court, according to Prince William County Police. Michael Spencer Wilson, 34, of the aforementioned address, is wanted for attempted malicious wounding. He's described as white, 6-2, 260 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., police went to the residence after the victim, a 32-year-old man, reported that he and Wilson had been in an argument that escalated. That's when Wilson whipped out a gun and pointed it at the victim, who was able to flee after being assaulted and contact police. He suffered a minor injury to his hand.

When police arrived, unsuccessful attempts were made to contact Wilson, who was believed to still be inside. Because he had a gun, tactical units also were involved. Police eventually determined Wilson no longer was there and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
