Armed Robber Targeted Bristow Subway, Manassas Advance Auto: Police
An armed man tried to rob an Advance Auto Parts in Manassas before successfully stealing from a Subway restaurant in Manassas, police said.

MANASSAS, VA — An armed robber targeted an Advance Auto Parts in Manassas and a Subway restaurant in Manassas on Sunday, the Prince William County Police Department said.
No injuries were reported in the robberies, according to authorities.
Investigators are still looking for the person responsible for the crimes. The police department described the robber as a Black male in his early 20s who was wearing dark clothing and a mask.

The first incident occurred at the Advance Auto Parts on Sudley Road around 7 p.m. on Sunday. Witnesses said a man with a gun in his waistband went behind the counter and demanded money from the register.
Authorities said he left the the auto parts store without any money.

At 7:50 p.m., a man matching the suspect description went into the Subway restaurant on Bristow Center Drive in Bristow. He showed witnesses a gun before taking cash and leaving the store, according to the police report.
Authorities did not specify how much money was stolen from the Subway.
A police K-9 searched the area, but they could not find the suspect.
