Armed Robberies Reported At Manassas Dunkin, Potomac Mills Mall Over The Weekend: Police

The Prince William County Police Department is investigating multiple armed robberies that took place in Manassas and Woodbridge.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Multiple armed robberies were reported around Prince William County over the weekend, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Now, authorities are looking for the people involved in the robberies.

The first armed robbery of the weekend was reported in Woodbridge on Friday evening. Authorities responded to the scene of the robbery in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle.

The victim, who police identified as a 16-year-old boy, told police that he was walking on the sidewalk when two unknown men approached him and asked for money. When the victim refused, the men grabbed him and took things from him, police said. One of the men implied that he had a weapon.

The suspects fled when one of the victim's friends saw what was happening and began to call for help. Authorities believe that one of the suspects fled on foot, while another left in a blue sedan. The victim lost an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.

The suspects are described as Black men, one is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, while the other is 6 feet tall. The taller man had a skinny build and was wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other suspect weighed about 200 pounds and was wearing a black bubble-style jacket and black pants.

Another armed robbery was reported to the police department on Saturday night at 9:09 p.m. Officers responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 8525 Rolling Rd. in Manassas to investigate.

"An employee of the business reported to police that as he reentered the store via the side door, an unknown man followed him inside," the department said in a report. "Once inside, the man brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cash registers."

The suspect fled out of the store's side door. He was described as a Black man who is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and has a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black mask, a black hooded sweatshirt with a dark-blue colored shirt over the top, dark colored pants, blue gloves, and white shoes.
