MANASSAS, VA — A routine shoplifting arrest early Saturday night at a Walmart, 8386 Sudley Road, turned into something not at all routine, according to Prince William County Police.
Officers arrived at the store shortly after 5 p.m., found the man they were looking for and arrested him without incident — at the time, anyway.
But while being processed at the Adult Detention Center, the man spit on an officer's hand.

Logan Caldwell Cunha, 21, of the 9400 block of Teaberry Court in Manassas, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and shoplifting.
