Assistance League of Northern Virginia Receives Support

Assistance League of Northern Virginia extends thanks to the Heritage Hunt Women's Organization (HHWO) for its award of $1,000 to support Operation School Bell programs. Every spring the organization awards money raised during the year to local charities and community causes. The funds awarded will be used to purchase new books and clothing for students at Yorkshire Elementary School, a Title I school in Manassas, where more than 80% of the student population live at or below the poverty level. This is the second year in a row that the Assistance League has been a recipient of HHWO's annual charities. This assistance in helping to transform lives and strengthen community is greatly appreciated.
