Attempted Sexual Assault Reported On Manassas Walking Path
A woman walking her dog reported an attempted sexual battery on March 15 near the Bull Run Swim and Racquet Club in Manassas, police said.
MANASSAS, VA — A woman walking her dog reported an attempted sexual battery about 3 p.m. on March 15 near the Bull Run Swim and Racquet Club, 8101 Seymour Road in Manassas.
A Prince William County police news release said an 18-year-old woman, was walking her dog on a path when she was
approached by an unknown man who had been seated on a nearby bench.
During the encounter, the suspect attempted to have inappropriate contact with the victim, before leaving the area on foot.

No injuries were reported, police said.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5’4”, 40 to 50 years old, with missing teeth, wearing a dark-colored shirt and light-colored pants.
