Back To School: Manassas 2023-24 School Calendar

MANASSAS, VA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Prince William County and the City of Manassas, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Prince William County and Manassas City schools.

The first day of school for most students in the area is Monday, Aug. 21.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year for students in the Prince William County school system:

• Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 4: Labor Day weekend, no school for students or staff.
• Friday, Sept. 15: Rosh Hashanah holiday, no school for students or staff.
• Monday, Sept. 25: Yom Kippur holiday, no school for students or staff.
• Monday, Oct. 9: Professional learning day, no school for students.
• Monday, Nov. 6: Teacher workday, no school for students.
