Back To School Vaccination Clinics Come To Manassas, Woodbridge
The Prince William Health District is hosting mobile coronavirus vaccine clinics and back to school immunization clinics for children.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — The Prince William Health District will hold several vaccination and immunization clinics in August to prepare students to return to classrooms. Coronavirus vaccines will be available in addition to the Hepatitis A vaccine, the Tdap vaccine, and the Meningococcal vaccine.
The health department's mobile vaccine unit will also provide coronavirus vaccines to any residents aged 12 or older. At the mobile clinics, residents can receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and either the first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
The first back to school vaccine clinic will be held in Manassas, at the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Road. The clinic will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those looking for the clinic should enter next to Uptown Alley, the health department said.

For the back to school immunization clinic, parents should bring the child's vaccine record and a copy of the child's insurance card. The health department noted that a child's insurance status will not affect their ability to receive a vaccine.
In the eastern part of the county, a back to school clinic will be held on Friday, Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be hosted at Potomac Middle School, located at 3130 Panther Pride Drive in Dumfries.

The mobile coronavirus vaccine clinic will visit the area on Tuesday, Aug. 3. From 1:30 p.m.to 3:30 p.m., the mobile unit will be at Dick's Sporting Goods on Worth Avenue in Woodbridge. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., it will be at the Woodbridge Mobile Home Park on Minnieville Road.
The mobile unit will set up shop in Manassas on Thursday, Aug. 5. It will be at Guapo's in the Manassas Park shopping center from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the clinic can be found at the Manassas mobile home park on Centreville Road.
