Bank Robbery Suspect Wanted in Manassas

Weapon was implied, suspect fled on foot, according to Manassas City Police.

An unidentified man robbed a Manassas bank on Wednesday afternoon, according to Manassas City Police.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the man entered the BB&T Bank at 9201 Church Street and demanded money.

A weapon was not displayed, but was implied, according to police.

The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, mid 40s – early 50s years old, gray beard, wearing a large Carhartt style hooded black jacket, blue jeans/pants and a black ski cap.
