Banner Art Competition to Spruce Up Downtown Manassas

MANASSAS, VA — Attention all artists and painters, be they budding or experienced: the Banner Art Competition returns for a third consecutive year, and the winners will have their work displayed on all the light poles throughout downtown.

Not only that, but there's a $1,000 top prize.

Only submissions from those 16 or older will be accepted, and the deadline to enter is Jan. 20.

Anyone from Virginia, D.C. or Maryland is invited to enter.

In all, more than 60 pieces of the winning work will be printed on individual street banners and placed on poles from spring through fall.
