Body Found In Nokesville Identified; Likely Gang-Related
The body found in Nokesville was identified as a teen missing from Fairfax County. Police believe the incident is gang-related.

NOKESVILLE, VA—The body found Tuesday in Nokesville has been identified as a missing teen. The case appears to be gang-related.
The body has been identified as Miguel Angel Ruiz Carrillo, 18, of Mount Vernon. The teen had been last seen Thursday, August 3 in Mount Vernon.
Family reported him as missing when he didn't return home, and Fairfax County investigations found he is missing under suspicious circumstances. He was reported as missing and endangered Aug. 8.

On Tuesday, Aug. 22, Prince William County Police searched the area of Nokesville Road and Fauquier Drive, recovering the body. Prince Williams County Police are now handling the investigation as a homicide. The remains were taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Manassas for an autopsy and further analysis to determine the cause of death.
Three have been arrested in connection with the teen's disappearance. Fairfax County Police arrested Jose Vincent-Sosa, 20, and Edwin Dinarte Moreno, 18, both of Alexandria, along with a female juvenile. All three are each charged with abduction and gang participation.
