Bomb Threat Empties Manassas Mall Friday

Neighboring schools were in "secure the building" status. Residents were asked to avoid the area. No device was found.

A bomb threat emptied the Manassas Mall for hours on Friday as law enforcement searched the large mall. The “all clear” was finally given in the afternoon.

The public was asked to avoid the mall area at this time until the all clear is given.

Stonewall Jackson High, Ellis Elementary, and New Directions Alternative Center implemented “Secure the Building” status. The campus is located behind the mall.
