Bomb Threat Reported At Gainesville Elementary School: Police
Authorities are still investigating a bomb threat that was called in to Glenkirk Elementary School in Gainesville on Wednesday.

GAINESVILLE, VA — A caller threatened Glenkirk Elementary School in Gainesville with a bomb on Wednesday morning, the Prince William County Police Department said.
No injuries were reported and investigators determined that there was no bomb at the school.
Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the bomb threat. No suspect descriptions were available on Thursday. The police department only described the person who made the bomb threat as "a male caller."

Around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a caller told school staff that there was a bomb on school property. School staff called police and evacuated the building.
A police K-9 searched the area, but they did not find any explosive devices. About an hour and a half after the school was evacuated, students returned to classrooms.
