City of Manassas Neighborhood Conference is Nov. 19
Meet your neighbors Saturday at the Manassas Boys & Girls Club.

On Saturday, I’ll be doing one of my favorite things – participating in the City’s 5th Annual Neighborhood Conference from 10 am to 2 pm at the Boys & Girls Club of Manassas on Dean Park Lane. Doors open at 9 am for registration, goodie bags and a tour around the exhibit hall.
Four adult workshops are being offered (choose two):
- Financial Tips for HOAs
- Organic Gardening for Communities
- Volunteer Power
- Understanding Code Enforcement

I love this event! I know I’ll make at least one new friend or contact. I’ll learn at least one new thing about how I can make my community better. And I’ll see people I know who care about their community and are concerned enough to step out and make a difference.
Attendance is free, but register at www.manassas.org/neighconf so organizers will plan enough for lunch for everyone.
Walgreens will be offering flu shots to participants 7 years and older throughout the conference. Walgreens accepts most insurance plans. If you have Medicare Part B, you’ll have no out-of-pocket cost. The first 80 participants without insurance who come to Walgreens’ booth, will receive a free flu shot.
Thank you U.S. Food Service Manassas, PNC Bank and the many other sponsors and exhibitors!
