Pick your own Tulips at Burnside Farms

Virginia in the spring is gorgeous, and one way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors is to make a short trip to Burnside Farms in neighboring Haymarket to pick your own tulips.

The family at Burnside Farms has always done a wonderful job of presenting their flowers, plants and food along Route 15 in Haymarket.  I have purchased items such as pumpkins, honey, apples, pears, plants, a Christmas wreath and now tulips at their roadside stand, just yards away from their farm.

This past weekend I took my girls up to the pick-your-own tulip fields to enjoy the outside and to gather flowers to decorate our kitchen table.  

Bring your family and stop by their farm, located at 4905 James Madison Highway between Long Park and Dominion Valley, this weekend.  For $1 per tulip, you can't beat the price or the view.
