Bristow Man Shot and Killed In D.C. On Wednesday: Police

A 25-year-old man from Bristow died on Wednesday after he was shot in northwest D.C., the Metropolitan Police Department said.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 25-year-old man from Bristow was shot and killed on Florida Avenue in northwest D.C. on Wednesday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Authorities identified the victim as Ahmad Clark. A woman, who police did not identify by name, also suffered a gunshot wound. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.

The police department has not announced any arrests in connection with the homicide. Authorities have not published any suspect description.

The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Wednesday in the 200 block of Florida Avenue in northwest D.C. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Clark had "no signs consistent with life," the police department said.

Clark was taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner, while an ambulance took the other victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Metropolitan Police Department offers a $25,000 reward for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for a homicide.
