Cabela's Plans Spring 2017 Opening in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, VA — Cabela's, a Nebraska-based outdoors outfit catering to hunters, boaters, campers and fishermen, plans to open an 80,000 square-foot store this spring adjacent to the Virginia Gateway Center at 5291 Wellington Branch Drive.

It'll be the first Cabela's in the D.C. area, along with two existing Virginia locations in Short Pump and Bristol.

Among the features will be an indoor archery range and firearm tech room.

The store is now taking applications for approximately 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs.
