From polished chrome to roaring engines, the 7th Annual Vettes for Willing Warriors Car Show is rolling into the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run on Saturday, May 16, 2026. What draws people in may be the cars, but what keeps this event moving year after year is the mission behind them.
While the vehicles take center stage, the heart of the day is community, connection, and care. Every Corvette registered, every sponsor engaged, and every guest in attendance helps fuel the work of Willing Warriors in serving wounded, ill, and injured active-duty service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.
The Warrior Retreat at Bull Run provides five-night, cost-free respite stays designed to give Warriors and their families space to rest, reconnect, and reset. Nestled in the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains, the Retreat offers a peaceful and private setting where Warriors may stay with up to nine loved ones or battle buddies. Across 37 acres, three retreat homes create an environment intentionally built to support healing, reflection, and renewed strength.
In 2024, the Retreat expanded with the opening of the Grand Lodge and the outdoor Patriot Pavilion, increasing both capacity and impact. These additions allow for expanded programming including post-traumatic stress support, peer mentorship, moral injury programming, trauma resiliency initiatives, veteran-led youth leadership development, and financial literacy education. To date, more than 3,200 Warriors and family members have experienced the Retreat, each taking meaningful steps forward on their healing journey.
Across the country, Warrior and Soldier Recovery Units remain full, and the mental health needs of our veteran and first responder communities continue to rise. The demand for restorative spaces that offer not only rest, but a path forward has never been greater.
