Historic Manassas Restaurant Recognizes National Strawberry Month and National Mental Health Awareness Month and Gives Back to NAMI

Carmello’s of Historic Manassas, Va. is celebrating National Strawberry Month in May by donating 15% of all strawberry bruschetta sales this month to support the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) in recognition of National Mental Health Awareness Month. “Our customers love our strawberry bruschetta, one of our popular spring appetizers, it’s a flavorful twist on the traditional bruschetta,” said Alice Pires, owner of Carmello’s and Monza of Historic Manassas, Va. “Supporting NAMI is a personal cause for me, being parent of a child with mental illness, you are always looking for ways to raise awareness and improve quality of life, not only for the mentally ill, but also for the caregivers of the mentally ill,” said Pires.
