BRISTOW, VA — As finding quality early childhood care and preschool is a challenge for Northern Virginia families, a newly-opened Celebree School is hoping to meet that need.

Celebree School, a franchise providing early infant and toddler care, preschool, before and afterschool care, and summer camp programs opened its newest location on March 4 in Bristow. The school at 10368 Bristow Center Dr. is locally owned and operated by Nasar Agha, a franchising entrepreneur.

Agha, who moved to the U.S. from Pakistan in 2008, has experience in construction, marketing, and sales after moving from Pakistan to the United States in 2008. His own family's experience having a daughter attend Celebree School and enjoy the classwork motivated him to open a franchise. He plans to open more locations in the near future.

"My wife is a teacher and together, we have raised our daughter emphasizing the importance of early childhood education, even having her enrolled as a Celebree School student," said Agha. "At such a difficult time for the world of education, being able to bring the services that Celebree offers to our local community is what we view as a crucial first step in closing the learning gap that has formed over the last few years."

Celebree School has programs with age-appropriate activities for children 6-weeks-old to 12-years-old. According to a news release, Celebree School offers a customized program focusing on children's physical, social, emotional and academic needs of children and meeting Virginia’s early education standards. Part-time or full-time care is offered, and parents can drop in anytime.

Celebree School dates back to 1994 when founder Richard Huffman opened his first early learning center in Ellicott City, Maryland. It started franchising in 2019 and has Northern Virginia locations in Alexandria, Arlington, Tysons, Reston and Ashburn.

"As we continue to expand our brand’s footprint through franchising, it’s more important than ever that we join forces with local community leaders who have a passion for early childhood education," said Huffman. "The opening of Nasar’s school brings me immense pride and joy. I know he is the perfect franchise partner to drive our mission forward."
