City Hall Named for Mayor Marvin Gillum

Manassas City officials recently presented a new sign for city hall, naming the building after a former mayor.

Funding for the Marvin J. Gillum City Hall sign came from contributions to a citizen committee. Manassas City Council approved the change in January.

Gillum served as mayor from 1996 until 2004. He also had spent more than 15 years on the city school board, according to a release.
