Colgan High School Threat Unfounded: Prince William County Schools
School officials and Prince William County Police say social media reports of a student bringing a gun to school Tuesday are baseless.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Social media rumors that someone might bright a weapon to Colgan High School Tuesday are unfounded, according to Prince William County Public Schools.
School officials and Prince William County Police have found no evidence to support the rumor.
Even so, the school at 13833 Dumfries Road will have extra security on hand as a precaution.

The school system says all rumored "threats" are taken seriously, and that anyone with information about such things are urged to contact police or school officials.
