Crash Kills Man In Manassas
A Manassas man was killed late Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas man was killed late Thursday in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hornbaker Road and University Boulevard, according to Prince William County Police. Freddie David Rios Cruz, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people suffered minor injuries.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., police went to the scene and found that a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant driven by Cruz was headed north on Hornbaker Road when he ran a red light and collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer headed east on University Boulevard.
The driver of the Trailblazer was a 20-year-old Woodbridge man. The passenger in the Galant was a 53-year-old Manassas woman. Police say speed, alcohol and drugs were not factors.
