Crash Into Power Pole Causes Yorkshire Elementary To Close
A crash in the Yorkshire area of Manassas closed an elementary school due to damages, according to Prince William County authorities.
MANASSAS, VA — A crash into a power pole led to damages and a school being closed in the Yorkshire area of Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.
The single-vehicle crash happened in front of Yorkshire Elementary School on Old Centreville Road. Police say the driver fled the scene.
Because power lines are down, Prince William County Public Schools said Yorkshire Elementary School was closed Friday. The School Aged Child Care at the location was closed as well.
