Design Holiday Tree Ornament for Manassas, Governor's Mansion

MANASSAS, VA — The city is asking adult residents to help it come up with a hand-crafted Christmas ornament representing Manassas that ultimately will be sent to the Governor's Mansion in Richmond.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe is seeking one hand-crafted ornament from each locality in Virginia.

The ornament should not be bigger than six inches in any dimension.

Ornaments should be submitted to City Hall by Oct. 19 to Patty Prince, fourth floor, for consideration. Those not selected will be featured on the city's tree in the lobby at City Hall.
