I mentioned ailing car. Well, car was given to me from family member and been in my possession only 5 weeks. I've been raving about the wonderful gas mileage.... Last fill was 12-24-13! I don't travel far each day but I do go out several times a week so I was mighty impressed.
No one told me the gas gauge was off by 1/8 of a tank...I simply was out of gas. I was jumping for joy at the simplicity!! The roadside assistance dude looked at me like I had lost my mind.
Its the small things in the life of a fixed income maven.
