
Osbourn (4-2) rolled to its fourth straight victory Friday night with a dominating 56-12 performance over Potomac (2-3).
The Panthers jumped out to a 12-7 first quarter lead, but it was all Eagles after that.
The defense buckled down, posting a shutout for the remaining three quarters, while the offense soared. Osbourn scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter and 28 in the third quarter.

The Eagles once again turned to their offensive leaders, senior Cedrick Delaney and junior Connor Lane, who had a hand in all of the touchdowns.
Delaney found success on the ground, carrying the ball only 12 times but amassing 206 yards and scoring four times on rushes of 62, 5, 25, and 52 yards.

Lane contributed 35 yards to the rushing attack on seven attempts, one of which was a 12-yard touchdown scamper. He was only called on for three pass attempts, but made each of them count. Lane completed all three of the passes for 95 yards, two of which went for touchdowns to junior Santoni Scott.
Osbourn will begin district play this Thursday at 7 p.m. as they host Battlefield and try to extend their win streak to five in a row.
