On Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 the City of Manassas is hosting a Fall Housing Event at Osbourn High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Several banks including, Bank of America, Chase Bank, GMAC, Ocwen and Wells Fargo will be present and available to meet with homeowners who are concerned about losing their home or have questions about underwater mortgages. Local housing counselors will be available to meet with area residents about credit counseling, home buying and safe mortgage practices. In recognizing the impact of foreclosures on our children, the event will provide a children’s activity corner designed by the Manassas City Schools Intervention Specialist team. The Homebuyers Education Class will be offered. The certification for this class will be good for one year.
